Awesome post.It's truly sad that Duanne was taken from us so early.I would have loved to see how he would have evolved as a guitar player.

Such a loss to lose Brother Duane at such an early age. The loss can never be calculated. His guitar playing and enthusiasm for the muse will forever be missed. I had the good fortune to catch the Brothers with Duane Allman about 4 months after they formed and had no clue as to how fortunate I was. Along with Jerry Garcia he will forever be playing those soulful licks in my mind and in my spirit.

The picture above is not graffiti. The words were carved in stone along this rock wall on a Mississippi highway between Vicksburg and Jackson and has since been sand blasted away. The feelings and sentiment still remain. Wail on Sky Dog!
